Details :	The Universiade is a sporting event held to promote relations and understanding among university students woldwide through sport. The 24th Summer Universiade hosted by Thailand is to make place from August 8 to 15. The symbol of this event will be five colored stands woven in a letter U and the mascot will be a rabbit named Mighty Maitri. The name of the mascot not only suggests power and friendship but it also corresponds to the Year of the Rabbit, which is the lunar year of His Majesty the king's birth. The slogan is, "All Become One", suggesting the unity of people of all races and religions from 150 countries.
