Details :	Population Census for the Development of the Country A Population and Housing Census is a collection of data related to information on the whole population of the country and their housing, which is used as a database by ministries in their strategic planning for all areas of the country--in its population, economic and social aspects. Every country has to comply with the suggestion of the U.N. to conduct a population and housing census once every ten years or in a year that ends with "0". This is to ensure that each country has information on its population and social matters that may be appropiately uesd for the development of its people. Thailand launched its first population census in 1909 and housing census in 1970. In 2010, it is going to be its 11th population census and the 5th housing census and they will be taken together under the responsibility of the Office of National statistics. Design: Illustrating graphic display of citizens and houses, and the 100th years of Thailand's population and housing census in 2010 logo. They altogether represent the compilation of census data, firstly conducted in 1909. Later 1970, the first housing census was carried out simultaneously with the popultion census.
